Clara Pinto is an Assistant Professor in the Department of General and Romance Linguistics at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon. She has been a researcher at the Center for Linguistics of the University of Lisbon (CLUL) since 2013 and an integrated member since 2025.
She received her PhD from the University of Lisbon in 2021 with a thesis in historical linguistics, an area in which she has been conducting research since 2013.
She was a researcher at FCSH and a scientific consultant for Portuguese textbooks for primary and secondary education.
