Every candidate needs to obey the following criteria: should be at least 17 years old; must not have Portuguese as his/her first language/mother tongue; should have previous knowledge of the Latin alphabet.

Carefully read the information on the page, where you’ll find both an application process guide and the link to the platform that’ll allow you to apply. In the case you agree with the Terms and Conditions presented in one the first application’s steps, you may fully proceed with the application process.
No. It is only possible to receive payments by bank transfer, in euros.
In this case, you may request said transfer at any Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) bank’s counter while providing them directly with the necessary amount in cash, as well as the correct beneficiary’s account details. Conveniently, there is one such bank located right in front of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities’ (FLUL) premises.

In the case your proof of payment does not state the account holder’s name, you should please send us the name by e-mail, alongside the respective proof in attachment, once you formalize your application in the portal.

You may request a declaration of registration after receiving confirmation of your registration. It is entirely up to each entity (that you present the declaration to) to decide whether to accept this document.
No. Each student is entirely responsible for his/her own accommodation. ICLP may only provide a list of contacts after receiving all the documents required for a valid registration.
The level placement for all students is the sole responsibility of ICLP’s Pedagogical Coordination. It is not possible for students to change of their own accord.
The application and registration fee for this course (50% of the total tuition fee) is non-refundable. In the case of withdrawal, if the student has paid the full amount of the tuition fee (100%) upon their application request, the amount paid when it was not yet due will be returned. You should always consult the Terms and Conditions for the course in question.
When applying for the Summer Course, the tuition fee should be paid in full. This amount is non-refundable, except if the course is cancelled by ICLP itself.
When applying for the Evening Course, the tuition fee should be paid in full. This amount is non-refundable, except if the course is cancelled by ICLP itself.
Due to the volume of processes taken by our Financial Services, there might be some delay in the refund.
ICLP is not responsible for VISA processes of any kind. As such, our refund policy, present in our Terms and Conditions, is not altered in any way.
The final certificates take anywhere between 1 and 3 months, after the course’s completion, to be ready. You may request it by e-mail, by post or collect it, in-person, at ICLP, during its opening hours.
Your certificate may only be provided if the corresponding course’s payment was provided in full.
Yes. However, you should first send ICLP an e-mail where your authorization is granted and with the full name and ID number of the person withdrawing the document.
